time off

today i ran around most of the day, the basic idea was to give the spouse an afternoon off. it worked. she spent an afternoon relaxing, played 3 games of chess and a game of chinese checkers, talked for quite a while, and most importantly, didn't have to worry about anything today.

every so often a break is needed.

this was her break. it isn't what we had planned for today, but she needed it anyway. i'm glad i was able to give it to her.
